Birthday - The Beatles - White Album / Bonus Tracks (CD)

All in all the artwork on this 50th Anniversary of "The White Album" (or originally called simply "The Beatles") is in keeping with the original album's look and feel. If this album is important to you, you probably need this multi-disc version--there's a lot of worthwhile tracks on the outtake discs/5(K).

The Beatles' White Album was unique. It was a double album with a diversity of sound. The Beatles were experimenting as indicated by "Revolution 9." While some tracks seem decidedly tongue-in-cheek like the swagger on "Rocky Raccoon" or "Piggies," some of these songs remain classic and the set wears well over 40 years after it was released/5(K).

As a Beatles fan from the beginning. I have over the years collected all their cd'gh the White Album was never my favorite, however there is enough good tracks to make a single cd. When the "White Album 50th anniversary album was released, I bought it not expecting what to receive. However the 3rd cd of outtakes is in my mind a great : The Beatles.

The Beatles White Album is the best work they ever put out in their short 6 year career. The double album is again remixed for and the songs haven’t sounded this good ever. Every instrument is clearly heard in the mix with the low end getting the heavier boost that it should. Helter Skelter is even harder and heavier then the mix/5(41).
